The local metal scene has been raging in Dayton and surrounding neighborhoods, and we’re proud this month to hit you up with some more news on local metal band, From Silence To Violence!   They screamed to the top of our October Featured Band/Artist contest and snagged 2nd place for the 2nd month in a row! Talk about some fan dedication!

These cats have been super busy and have had some changes to deal with recently.  Their drummer, Colton Mathies, moved out to California earlier this month, so they are now looking for a new drummer.  Watch for this on our upcoming classifieds posting or hit them up on their page if you’re interested.
In the meantime, they are shooting a video for their track “whats in the bag”, working on a DVD, and are in the studio recording tracks for their first album  (They spent a number of extra hours in the studio getting all the drum tracks before Mathies left in preparation for a new drummer.) They also now have some sweet merch available for all those awesome fans and some new video footage!  From Silence to Violence is looking forward to getting back out and playing shows soon with a new lineup, and with the killer tunes they have been working on, I have no doubt they will be back at it sooner rather than later!
