From the opening notes of “Rainin’ Sunshine” right through to the end of “The Experience”, singer-songwriter Will Cook’s new solo album, “The Weatherman”, warms the soul and calms the storms of the mind.
The album is full of clear, bright melodies of acoustic guitar fronted by Will’s rich and soulful vocal stylings. His lyrics are chock full of hope and love, and they ring true in a world too often filled with hate. Though he moved here just a few years ago from Tennessee, Will Cook, better known as Will C., found his musical heart, and his FAM!LY in Yellow Springs and has been writing here ever since. Whether solo, with his band, hosting a weekly open mic, or at some other local event, Will does his best to keep busy as a full-time musician and performs every chance he gets.
