AlbumCoverHailing from the heart of Alabama, Donica Knight is an up and coming country rocker with a brand new single called “Love Ain’t A Prize” off her upcoming album ‘Can’t Buy A Southern Girl’ which is slated for release in early 2016.

2Having worked with the likes of country artists like Ronnie Milsap and opening for a diverse array of national and international acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Styx, Hank Williams Jr., Kid Rock, Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Kenny Rogers, Scotty McCreery, Jamey Johnson, Little River Band, Skid Row, Kellie Pickler, Blackberry Smoke, Joe Nichols, REO Speedwagon, The Band Perry, Chris Young, and 3 Doors Down, Knight is quickly becoming a seasoned music veteran and has proven she’s got the chops to hang with the big boys.

3Showcasing Knight’s southern roots with soulful vocals, a fierce feminine attitude, and a superbly developed musical backline, “Love Ain’t A Prize” is an anthem for the modern “southern girl”.   Knight’s vocals on this single are like that first cup of morning coffee – they’ll warm you up with the first sip, have you rockin and rollin by the 3rd or 4th, and leave you craving more by the time she finishes with you.

On November 1st, this hot little tune will be available on iTunes, Amazon, and all major music retailers in more than 100 countries, and after  you check out her alluring video single of this new song (below), we have no doubt you’ll be headed over to grab this saucy, hot-blooded jam for your own collection!
