On Saturday, January 23rd, the air at Yellow Cab will be electric as the tension builds for the release of Take To Air, the sophomore album from Dayton natives, Nasty Bingo!
This week, we had the pleasure of listening to several tracks off Nasty Bingo’s new album, Take To Air, and we can’t wait for you to hear them!
Nasty Bingo, self-described as “Folkadelic”, is music with a unique mix of classic 
rock, pop, jam, folk, gospel, blues, and more!
The proof of their talent and song-writing abilities lies in the groovy flow of each song, the smooth transitions, the specific melodies and harmonies and layering, and the uplifting, clean vocals.
Their song, “Excelsior”, is a great example of this with its soft, acoustic intro that builds into more complex layers over a grooving background of keys, drums, and bass. We’re also really excited to catch their song “Begin” at this show, but what’s really awesome is that the guys in Nasty Bingo have planned a packed set of great music, including a brand new song never performed live!
This showcase event of fantastic musicianship and songwriting will get started with performances from several of the most talented and gracious musicians around!
The always-fabulous, Sharon Lane, will be tearing things up along with some great music from Paige Beller that we are sure will leave your jaw on the floor and the fabulous folk stylings of Steve Makofka! Trey Stone and the Ringers will also be in the house to show you all how to have a good time! Delicious treats from Bad Dog Nice Taco followed up with great local craft beer and local art will keep you entertained and satisfied between sets!
Then Nasty Bingo will hit that awesome stage to perform the music that everyone’s been anticipating all night! This will be an unforgettable night at Old Yellow Cab that is sure not to be missed!
