2Packed from start to finish with heat, soul, love, and a whole lot of fun, ‘Can’t Buy A Southern Girl’ is Knight’s unapologetic and unabashed statement of individuality, a showcase for her strong feminine attitude, and a window into her passion for life!

The new EP includes Knight’s single, “Love Ain’t A Prize,” which debuted at #1 on iTunes (New Country Releases) in late 2015, and four more hot-blooded hits that will have you and your friends dancing all night!

The rowdy, high-energy lyrics throughout the new EP are well matched with Knight’s epic and powerful voice, which is soft Donica Knight AlbumCoverand feminine but can still rip through you with plenty of grit and “get down” attitude!

Another great surprise on this EP is the mix of southern rock, country, and blues in some unusual combos with other genres.  You can hear this distinct flair in the Motown-esque intro and backing mood on “Blinded By Love” and the acoustic, alternative, lo-fi intro on “Stomp”.  These, less prominent differences in songwriting and musical techniques, along with Knight’s amazing voice, are what make ‘Can’t Buy A Southern Girl’ a great crossover album that works not just for country, but also pop, rock, southern rock, soul, and more!
