The brand new single, “Lay One Down,” by award-winning singer/songwriter, performer, and multi-instrumentalist, Ed Roman, is a refreshingly positive outpouring of love!
Roman is best known for fusing together pop, rock, folk, and country flavors with his own sensitive and forward-thinking lyrics, and the new single, “Lay One Down,” is one of his best songs to date!
His lyrics implore the listener to empathize with and help not just their “brothers” but their “foes,” and the message of love is clear throughout. Roman’s voice is like warm cotton candy for your ears; sweet and dreamy tastes of happiness! The music is a mix of light acoustic guitar and soft percussion with melodies that send a blissful energy shimmering through the body, but the best part of the song is definitely towards the end when Roman hits the bridge and lets loose vocally! He gets some grit in there, and there’s an explosive high note where you can literally hear the joy coming from his soul!
