Jeremy and Lynne featuring the Typical Johnsons - The Sailor and the Siren

‘The Sailor & The Siren’ is the brand new album by singer-songwriter duo, Jeremy & Lynne!  It’s their first release featuring their band, The Typical Johnsons, and includes three new tunes as well as three previously released favorites revamped with the band’s signature sound AND two bonus tracks!

There is still the echo of the raw sound of their first CD called “Drawing Blood” that I love, but the addition of The Typical Johnsons (Andy Brogan – lead guitar, vocals; Jeff Brogan – bass; Justin Luckey – drums) supercharges each tune with new life! The added depth of the band gives each tune an extra dimension, making “The Sailor & The Siren” a great listen from start to finish!

Next is two previously released tunes from the CD, ‘Drawing Blood’, called “How I Died Today” and “Inside My Head”.  These “fleshed out” versions have unearthed depths in these songs that you just had to imagine before.

You can’t miss the title track, “The Sailor & The Siren,” which is truly a gem of a song and will take you on a journey of discovery and perseverance. It took a whole lot of that perseverance to deliver this album to the world, and this song is for all those still chasing their dreams and their siren!

“Good Ones” asks the questions we’ve all asked at some point in our life; “Why do the good ones make you feel so sad? Why do the good ones never stay?”

My personal favorite on the EP is called “Ohio Gone,” which explores the struggles and trials of living in the Buckeye state. If you’re from Ohio, you’ll understand and relate to this one, for sure!

If you wanna hear the tasty bonus tracks, you’ll just have to pick up a copy for yourself!   😉

Recorded at Moon Ranch Entertainment, ‘The Sailor & The Siren’ is a great addition to your music collection!  Take your own personal voyage, and grab your copy of ‘The Sailor & The Siren’ today!
