This is the third studio album from Wheatley Matthews, and as the title of the album suggests, the lyrics and music take a trip to the darker side of love – the heartache; the lessons learned; the daily grind that can make folks lose their way from each other.
From beginning to end, ‘Taken The Wrong Side’, is a stripped down acoustic album, and you won’t find any fancy post-production, auto-tune, or a host of instruments. Wheatley Matthews recently finished a six week tour in New England representing the new album, but ‘Taken The Wrong Side’ will be officially released and you can check it out LIVE and in-person on Saturday, September 24th at Oregon Express on Fifth Street in Dayton for the official album release party. Special guests include OldNews, Whiskey For Kids, and Paige & The Belairs. Doors at 9PM. $5 cover.
