2016 Best of Dayton Underground Begins December 1st! Get Your Nominations In Today!

Nominations are now open for the first round of the 2016 Best of Dayton Underground Contest, and with more than $750 in prizes and both peer and VIP voting, this year’s contest is even bigger and better!

More than 700 music lovers have enjoyed The Dayton Underground Series experience since it began in March.  This year’s concert series has showcased seven different types of original local music at 3 fantastic local venues, with more excellent shows on the 2017 horizon.

 

 

 

 

 

Now, the Dayton Underground Series will reach it’s finale with the 2016 Best of Dayton Underground contest,
which begins on December 1^st with 10 days of online voting. 

 

First round nominations are now open HERE, and any local (Dayton plus approximately 30 miles) band or artist creating original music in 2016 can enter the contest.  The contest ends with a final VIP and peer voting round at the End Of Year Bash where the Grand Prize Winner will receive a $750 prize package of recording and music services from Popside Recording, Sound City Music, and Music Connection Dayton.  

The End Of Year Bash and contest finale and will take place on December 29^th, 2016 at one of the Dayton area’s hottest up and coming live music spots, Oscar’s Bar, in Vandalia, Ohio.  This free show will feature live music from Krunk Town Boogie, Founding Fathers, and The Sandwich, and like all Dayton Underground Series shows, this event will be a drop-off location for any gently-used clothing donations for Helping the Homeless- Dayton, Ohio.
