The Dayton Underground Series will be presenting the last two shows of the 2017 concert series at Courtyard Lounge in Englewood on 10/14/17 (Pushing Boundaries) and at Oscar’s Bar in Vandalia on 12/28/17 (End of Year Bash), and VIP passes are currently on sale for just $25! The VIP pass will get you entry to both shows as well as delicious food and two free drinks at the End of Year Bash. Bringing a gently-used clothing donation for Helping the Homeless to either event will get you some cool goodies and a free drink!
At Courtyard Lounge on 10/14/17, local bands Stella’s Demise, Others By No One, and Monocle will rock the stage for the Pushing Boundaries show. This edgy showcase features rock, prog, instrumentals, & more, & tickets can be purchased at http://pushingboundaries.brownpapertickets.com or at the door day of show for $10. Doors at 8PM. Show at 9PM.
At Oscar’s Bar on 12/28/17, local bands R.I.N.D. and ThunderTaker will rock out for the End of Year Bash. This early, Thursday night, free show features the 2016 Best of Dayton Underground winner, ThunderTaker, and up-and-coming rock and rollers, R.I.N.D. Show at 8PM.
Since its inception in 2016, The Dayton Underground Series, presented by Music Connection Dayton, LLC, has featured more than 35 local bands and solo artists at 6 different venues for more than 1000 Daytonians and beyond. The series has also generated more than 500 lbs of clothing donations for Helping the Homeless as well as twelve cool and varied collections of free local music from the performers that is available for download at www.mcdayton.bandcamp.com. In 2017, local TV show, Dayton Music Scene, along with one of Dayton’s most notable live music photographers, Jennifer Taylor, are partnering with the series to capture the amazing local talent and help showcase Dayton to the world.
