With the recent Limp Bizkit prank and the fun that ensued, are Dayton’s grime scene and rap scene ready to join forces for an epic Sunday show?  If his music and videos are any indication, we think it could happen next Sunday when NKY/Cinci rapper and Soundlink Studios artist, Mix Fox, hits the stage at Blind Bob’s downtown!

Kentucky and Ohio aren’t known for their rap and hip hop sensations, but Mix Fox may just be the game changer! Mitch Fuchs, AKA Mix Fox, is currently getting notice from such names as Def Jam Records, Atlantic Records, XXL Magazine, Hopsin, Waka Flaka and more! 

Wham Bam Road Trip to the Oregon Express – SHOW PICS!

Everyone likes a good road trip. so the good folks from Love of Life Inc took to the streets of Dayton’s Oregon District and headed straight to the Oregon Express for a fun-filled night of raffles prizes, good food, great friends, and amazing music!

Here Come the Mummies! Unearthed in the Land of Funk!

Music fans in the city dubbed as “The Land of Funk” unearth the phenomenon known as Here Come the Mummies!

Oddbody’s Music Room was packed tighter than the tombs these guys crawled out of, and the early start time didn’t keep fans away from this rager that also included local favorites, Magic Jackson and McGuff and the Dumpster Fires. Tickets for the show sold out days prior to the event, but thanks to some very good friends, we copped a pair of tickets for what turned out to be a show for the ages!

RESTOCK Recap: Dayton’s Music Community Rocks for Charity

 The 2nd Annual RESTOCK Charity event benefiting the Dayton Foodbank and Helping the Homeless Dayton was an evening of great music and amazing generosity! Oddbody’s Music Room was buzzing with Dayton area music fans armed with boxes and bags of donations in support of two of the Miami Valley’s best charitable endeavors!

The Dayton Foodbank is the heartbeat of an expansive network of over 100 food pantries scattered throughout Greene, Montgomery, and Preble Counties! Through community and corporate donations the Dayton Foodbank continues its work to help relieve hunger in the Miami Valley.

Helping the Homeless Dayton creator Trena Elam is a champion for our area homeless! Instead of ignoring the ever growing problem of homelessness in the Miami Valley, Elam has taken it upon herself to stand up and fight for those less fortunate. Elam distributes donations to area shelters and at times combs the streets looking for those who may be in need of clothing, blankets, coats, and ready to eat food.
