Flying_Solo_CoverWhisking you far away from his current residence in Allentown, Pennsylvania to the lush, green hills of Ireland, Corey Purcell’s new solo album, ‘Flying Solo’, is a relaxing and whimsical breath of fresh air.  Purcell is a multi-talented musician.  Not only does he sing on many of the tracks, he also plays accordion, cittern, bodhran, and guitar, and lest I forget to mention later, he’s also a well-known Irish dancer!

Although the name Stelth Ulvang may not be familiar, his performance with celebrated Denver, Colorado-based folk rockers The Lumineers probably is. The band’s self-titled debut album, released in mid-2012 peaked at number two on the Billboard charts in early 2013 and has been certified platinum in the U.S. As a result, they were nominated for both Billboard Music Awards and Grammy Awards.

Engraved Darkness (Black/Death/Thrash Metal – Riverside/Lewisburg) has found a new lead guitarist in Logan Baker!

Logan has been playing guitar for over 15 years, but he just got out of the Marines working as a biochemist and is new to the local scene! Now he’s here in the Dayton area and has joined up with the guys from Engraved Darkness to blow it up!  They’re now busy recording and preparing to pay our local scene a big spanking!  I can’t wait to check it out and have my earholes blown away!
