Dayton, Ohio has a long list of “must see” bands.  A relatively new arrival to that list is ThunderTaker.  Though formed just a little over a year ago, they have already made their mark on the Dayton music scene and have a long and promising career ahead!
This band is the complete package!

Tony Red Band at the FrazeI have often wondered what it would be like to step out on the stage of a sold out show and perform in front of a hometown crowd. For most of us, the dream is just that, a dream, but for hometown favorites, the Tony Red Band, the dream became a reality when the guys got the call to open up for Rock & Roll Hall of Famer’s, Heartat the Fraze Pavilion in Kettering, OH.

Ever noticed how many successful male rock-singers sound a lot like chicks?

Robert Plant. Freddie Mercury. Rod Stewart. The Eagles’ Timothy B. Schmidt. Chris Robinson of Black Crowes fame. The Darkness’ Justin Hawkins. Steven Tyler. Axl Rose. Even Jack White at times.

Just to name a few.

Maybe all rockers would be better off finding female singers to front their groups, because it’s sure worked out roses for plenty of bands already.
