The Wham Bam Thank U Jam, now in its 6th year , continues to be one of the most magical weekends of the year! This time around, the folks at Love of Life Inc. treated music lovers to a celebration that they will never forget!
If you missed this year’s celebration or haven’t been to any of the celebrations yet, you truly owe it to yourself to experience this magical weekend at least once! It will change your life! There were a ton of mystical, magical moments during the three day celebration and Music Connection Dayton (The Official Media Partner of Wham Bam) was there to catch all the action. Square Roots Records Launches New Music Venue in Troy with Fundraising Concert

Square Roots Records opened its doors for the first time on Saturday, June 13 in Troy, OH! The maiden voyage of the Miami Valley’s newest music venue launched with a special inaugural concert and CD fundraiser for Scott Lee & The Whiskey River Boys, which also featured local favorites, Lost on Iddings!
A few weeks prior to the opening, my wife, Lisa, and I made a visit to see the proud owner, Brad Denson, at his cool, new venue, and Denson was kind enough to give Music Connection Dayton a sneak peek at the new 5300 sq. ft. facility! His enthusiasm for the project was infectious, and during the tour, Denson shared his vision for the multi-purpose venue, where music is the emphasis and not just a sideline to a cool social gathering!

Live Music Venue & Recording Studio will offer a variety of services including Custom Productions, Corporate and Private events, Banquet Hall rental, Audio/Video Recording, and more.

This year Winterfest comes to the Gem City and Dayton’s Oddbody’s on Saturday, February 7 with a diverse line-up that includes Jah Sol, The Repeating Arms, Will C and Family, Lost on Iddings featuring Sean Finnigan, Elementree Livity Project, The Subterranean House Band, and The Spikedrivers. Neilson Hixson and his team have made an amazing transformation since taking over the old McGuffy’s House of Draft quickly turning Oddbody’s into one of Dayton’s hottest new venues.
