On the 2nd anniversary of Music Connection’s official creation, we are extremely excited to announce that the official launch of W937 Dayton Radio – Your Local Music Connection is scheduled for March 5th! Read on to find out how you can get the early preview on our mobile app!
This online radio station is dedicated to showcasing Dayton area music, past and present and will be easily accessible through our website and our new mobile app!
While you might hear the occasional song from an out-of-area band or a short promo spot from our sponsors or our hosting platform sponsors, our goal is to pack your day with the amazing variety of great music created in and around Dayton, Ohio and nothing else!
Our first month of airtime will include a rotation of 75+ hours of music personally picked by our new Partner, Jimmy Cummings; myself; local musician and supporter Chris Taylor!
To have this awesome group of folks on board with W937 Dayton Radio is just amazing! We don’t just have a great team though! Dayton is packed with stellar artists of all types and styles, and we’ll be sharing our top tracks with you from all different genres! In our second month and beyond, we hope to start bringing you live broadcasts, interviews, and more!
We can’t even tell you how stoked we are to start spreading the good word about Dayton music! On March 5th, we’ll break the seal on this new station officially by making the station available on our website and opening it up for local submissions.
